Prostejov Challenger: Nicholas Monroe/Simon Stadler lift doubles crown!

Nicholas Monroe and Simon Stadler, who had got the top billing, clinch the men's doubles title of the ATP Unicredit Czech Open 2013 in Prostejov, Czech Republic.
The American-German combination got off to a rusty start against the third seeds Mateusz Kowalczyk of Poland and Lukas Rosol of Czech Republic, by conceding a 3-0 lead in the first set. However, they broke back twice later on to bag the first set 6-4.
The first half of the second set did not witness any breaks as both the teams held their serves. But the experience duo of Monroe and Stadler produced some innovative techniques to brush aside their counterparts and won the second set 6-4.
Nicholas Monroe and Simon Stadler won 76% of their first-serve points against 68% of their rivals. Also, they won 65% of their second-serve points against 47% of Kowalczyk and Rosol.
