Federer second in Forbes' highest-paid athletes; many other tennis stars follow!

Swiss ace Roger Federer is second in the latest release of the Forbes' highest-paid athletes after veteran golfer Tiger Woods.
The 17-time Grand Slam Champion, earns $71.5 million, according to the Forbes' release. Federer gets $6.5 million as his salary and $65 million via endorsements and other commercial activities.
Russian beauty - Maria Sharapova was named the best earning tennis player after Federer. At the 22nd position, Sharapova earns $29 million which includes $6 million through the salary earnings and the rest $23 million from the advertisements.
World #1 Novak Djokovic reportedly earns $26.9 million in a year. The Serbian, placed at 28th spot, receives $12.9 million from the payment or salary and $14 million through media endorsements.
Rafael Nadal, popularly known as the 'King of Clay', gets $26.4 million courtesy his $5.4 million salary and $21 million which come from the advertisements or endorsements. Nadal has been given the 30th spot in the list.
American star - Serena Williams, earns $20.5 million and hangs at #68 in the list. According the Forbes', Serena is the recipient of $8.5 million through her salary while she earns $12 million from various endorsements.
French Open champion - Na Li, also joins the elite panel at #85 in the list. The Chinese gets $18.2 million in a year, through her salary ($3.2 million) and endorsements ($15 million).
As an ardent fan of the sport, it is good to see so many international stars hang out in the 'million-dollar-babies' list.
